1. f(x) = 6x

 2. f(x) = 1 over 7 to the power of x

3. f(x) = 4x + 2

4. f(x) = 1 over 3 to the power of x minus 3

5. f(x) = 3x+1

6. f(x) =1 over 2 to the power of x-3

7. Using complete sentences, explain the limitations on the base of an exponential function.  The base can never be zero.

8. Using complete sentences, explain how the graphs of exponential functions are different from the other functions you’ve studied (e.g., linear, quadratic, cubic, rational, etc.) With exponential functions we can see the change in slope at a constant rate but with other functions there are sudden changes.
